Cover material defines the surface finish applied to a part, for example veneer, laminate, paint, film, or another decorative coating. In Woodwork for Inventor, this information is important not only for visual representation, but also for preparing accurate documentation and production data.
To assign a cover material, select the Edge Band material type from the menu, then click the face of the part to which you want to apply it.
